October was Wellness Month at NRI, where we focused on nurturing our physical, mental, and financial well-being. 🏃♂️ We kicked off the month with our 21-Day Wellness Challenge, encouraging staff to adopt a new positive habit each day—like going for more walks, checking in with a friend, or preparing a nutritious meal. 🧠💬 Our health cover partners supported us with insightful sessions, with Bupa delivering an engaging talk on the neuroscience, physiology, and mental and physical impacts of burnout, offering practical strategies to care for ourselves and support others. 💼 Brighter Super hosted a “Super 101” session, providing valuable tips on managing investments and insurance to take control of our financial future. 💆♀️ Throughout the month, we also partnered with Bupa to offer in-office massages, giving our staff a chance to relax and de-stress. 🥗 Finally, we wrapped up the month with a healthy catered in-office lunch, bringing the team together to enjoy delicious food with great company. Thank you to everyone who took part in Wellness Month! Now the real challenge begins: sustaining our new healthy habits throughout the year!

As an organisation transfixed with technology, we’re incredible excited to share a forum with our future digital game changers. Run by WAITTA, The Game Changer Awards acknowledge and reward children for developing their STEM skills through creative problem-solving, collaboration and teamwork, and provide a platform for students to present their projects to a panel of expert judges. A big thanks to our NRI volunteers Wendy Clarke and Anju Unnithan who’ll be on the ground running our ‘Build a bridge with AI’ competition, as well as judging the brilliant projects on display.
