We are very pleased to have obtained approval on behalf of our valued clients, Abacus Group, for façade and signage upgrades to an existing Storage King Facility at 2 Mile End Road, Rouse Hill. The DA works will be undertaken in conjunction with substantial expansion works, which we were able to support obtaining approval for as complying development. Our thanks to the planning team at The Hills Shire Council, who approved the subject application in under 4 weeks.

We are very pleased to have obtained approval from the Sydney North Planning Panel for a new residential project on behalf of our valued clients at WINIM and PGIM Real Estate. The site presented some challenges due to its low density residential interface and undulating topography, however through working closely with the project team and Lane Cove Council, approval was able to be obtained within 6 months of lodgement. Designed by PBD Architects, this development will feature 43 apartments, many with sweeping city and district views. We can't wait to see it hit the market!

We are pleased to announce the approval of alterations and additions to the existing Connolley Williams Building at Brigidine College, Randwick via the Local Planning Panel. The DA provides consent for alterations and additions to the existing building to render it suitable for use as a library and music room, and to facilitate better accessibility to and within the building. The proposed works will result in an improved built form that has been carefully design to respond to the heritage character of the “Aeolia”, Brigidine Convent and Chapel. Thank you to all involved, including Randwick City Council, and we look forward to seeing the completion of the approved works.

We are pleased to have recently supported M Moser Associates obtain development approval for alterations and additions and refurbishment works to buildings within the Disney Studios Australia Precinct at Moore Park. Working closely with MBC Group and the broader project team, we were able to provide a planning strategy which enabled the works to occur through a combination of complying development approvals and approvals granted by City of Sydney through a DA process. Thanks to all involved, and looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Patch is excited to announce that an approval has been secured via the Land and Environment Court for the construction of a new light industrial complex at 55 Halstead Street, South Hurstville. The DA provides consent for demolition and the subsequent construction of a light industrial complex within the South Hurstville Industrial area. The project team worked together closely to resolve matters raised by the Council through court processes. In the end, an agreement was reached resulting in a development outcome which responds to the various site constraints and interface sensitivities, whilst simultaneously responding to the commercial needs of the client. Congrats to those involved including Apex Planning & Environment Law, Novo Advisory, nettletontribe, GROUND iNK Landscape Architects and Integrated Group Services (IGS).
