“The interactive nature of the performance invited students to make choices, explore their surroundings, and participate at their own pace. This autonomy was pivotal in helping students build confidence in their abilities and feel a sense of ownership over their experience.” Principal, specialist school.
When the World Turns, our collaboration with Oily Cart, commissioned by Arts Centre Melbourne, is an immersive, theatrical production created specifically with and for young people with complex disability. With generous support, we are currently touring an in-school version into Victorian specialist schools, ensuring that we reach even more students who experience barriers to access.

They are in a darkened space, at a small round table with other adults, illuminated by a lamp. The young person holds a torch/flashlight, with natural objects on their wheelchair tray. A large piece of wrinkled brown paper with writing is on the table.
