THE WAY WE ARE by Hugh Mackay AO, Australia’s leading sociologist, was launched at Publicis last week. We were inspired by the 60+ years of interviews Hugh conducted to understand Australian culture today, the crossroads we faced, and what it meant for brands. But mostly, we were heartened by the belief that humankind will prevail.

🏅 The Paralympic Games begin today! 🏅   As the Games kick off, we’re proud to introduce our latest campaign: Imagine What We Can Do—a celebration of the grit, passion, and determination that define Australia’s 160 Paralympic athletes.   This campaign isn’t just about the competition; it’s about the stories that inspire us all. We captured the journeys of 16 incredible athletes, showcasing their resilience and strength as they prepare to compete in 17 sports. Our Managing Director, Simone Waugh, joined a panel with Reg Raghavan and Rowan Crothers OAM, led by QSport and CEO Tim Klar, to talk about how Publicis' storytelling helped win the Brisbane 2032 Games. They also highlighted how Publicis is currently telling impactful stories for Paralympics Australia’s "Imagine what we can do" and the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS)'s, "Behind the Extraordinary".
