Quickstep Group BUSINESS UPDATE: We are delighted to share that Quickstep’s Engineering Development business unit has had a strong end to FY24, delivering record drone production numbers, largely supported by the additional volume from Carbonix. Over the last four months, we've achieved revenue of approximately $1.3 million, surpassing the previous eight months' earnings. In mid-June 2024, Quickstep announced the expansion of our Geelong facility and the award of the Department of Industry, Science and Resources Grant under the Moon to Mars initiative. This expansion is progressing well, allowing us to increase our drone production capacity and embark on exciting new development projects. These include initiatives in the space sector and prototyping capabilities for guided weapons components like rocket motor housings, fuselage bodies, and launch systems. The growing market demand for commercial and military drones, coupled with the Australian Government’s Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance Enterprise (GWEO) initiative, provides us with a promising pipeline of development programs. This will enable Quickstep to continue its growth into advanced manufacturing production across strategically attractive new markets.
