  • The end of a positive week of strong advocacy and collaboration for Councils, tourism groups and businesses across the region. South West Regional Organisation of Councils (SWROC) met in St George on Monday with future direction for Regional Drought Plans and Australian Government funded projects being points of discussion. Today’s tourism workshop with Bree James MP, Queensland Assistant Minister for Tourism in St George was another great example of the great number of committed individuals and organisations working to develop and grow the Tourism Industry in Queenslands Outback particularly in the lead up to the 2032 Olympics.
