📣 ANNOUNCEMENT 📣 NEW Exclusive Recycling Partnership - Total Green Recycling Sam's Spares is very excited to announce a new exclusive partnership with Total Green Recycling across WA. At every stage of our journey, our mission has always been to adhere to the highest standards available. Total Green Recycling is the only recycler within WA that has a local accreditation for AS5377 and the only site with a DWER licence. Their Welshpool facility, which recycles E-waste, is operated under an environmental management system accredited to ISO14001 and is regularly audited as an NTCRS approved recycler. This is why they were our choice as Recycling Partners ♻️ For all of the IT technology that cannot be reused through our organisation, Total Green will make sure they are recycled to the absolute highest standards in WA. They have also committed to working with us to :- ✨️ Purchase our commodities to assist us with fundraising (cables, motherboards, and other parts) ✨️ Collaborate with us to host public E-Waste events. AND For all of the e-waste items that we don't accept at Sam's Spares, Total Green has you covered and for every Sam's Spares referral, they will donate 20% of all disposal fees to support our mission. 🙌 How AWESOME is that 👏 Huge thanks to Michelle Hand - Business Development Manager, for her unwavering support for Sam and to Ram Kalyanasundaram - Chief Executive Officer for being inspired by Sam and his mission and jumping at the opportunity to work with us. Sam is gearing up for Christmas and spending hours refurbishing & repairing the gaming systems that we have had donated over the year. With the help of 2 Corporate teams from Perth Mint and BHP we have 82 Consoles ready to go with more still to process. As an avid gamer himself he knows the smiles they will bring to the children and families that receive them. These systems will be distributed through our Charity Network into the hands of those who are in need this Christmas 🎄 We would love the systems to be able to go out with games and working controllers so if anyone has any laying around please consider Sam's Spares. If you also have a few hours spare to help us clean controllers and cables drop us an email! Yesterday, we had an awesome Corporate volunteering team from our Partners The Perth Mint. They set out on the massive task of repairing, testing, and cleaning our Gaming Consoles for Christmas 🎄 🎮🕹 Each year, Sam's Spares gifts gaming consoles for children and families in need across WA, and this year, we are going to smash our last record. 28 consoles were gifted last Christmas, and just yesterday, the team was able to fully repair 54 consoles!! Each console is gifted with at least one controller and 4-5 age appropriate games. 🥰 We have more to work through today and are excited to see how many we can complete. Having the IT team from Perth Mint to help Sam diagnose, repair, and swap out parts and solder when required was AMAZING! We are still accepting donations of gaming items right up until December, so if you have consoles, controllers, games, or accessories to part with, consider donating them to us! Thank you to the team at Perth Mint. we appreciate your support, not only to choose us to manage your obsolete IT but to give your time to come and help out 💛 Gold Corporation - The Perth Mint
