Here at Sanitarium we’re proud of our pioneering history in plant milks. It started almost 40 years ago, when we first introduced Australians to the goodness of So Good™ soy milks and continues today with the launch of Plantwell™ – a new generation of plant milks with clinically proven superplant ingredients for targeted health benefits. The Plantwell range was developed by a specialised innovation unit at Sanitarium. Led by dietitian, and now Plantwell brand manager, Anja Laudrin (nee Sussmann), our team spent years developing a deep consumer health insight, researching naturally functional plant-based ingredients, working to make these ingredients accessible and claimable within ANZ food regulations, and finally balancing tastes and textures to get these ground-breaking plant milks ready for launch.
