The WA team got into the racing spirit today to celebrate the 164th running of the Melbourne Cup. It was a fantastic opportunity for everyone to dress up, watch the race and have some fun with colleagues. We hope everyone had a safe and happy cup day 🏇

As part of Telethon7 weekend, three lucky Satterley staff members were able to join in the action at the Telethon Call Centre! They had a fantastic day, and it was a wonderful opportunity to get hands-on involvement in a project that is close to the hearts of everyone at Satterley. Over the weekend the price for this year's Telethon Home, built by Blueprint Homes at Clementine, was revealed as a whopping $1,175,000! The full proceeds of which went to Telethon, contributing to the record-breaking $83,264,216 raised this year. Ellenbrook marked a significant milestone this week, celebrating 30 years of development and the launch of the final stage of its residential community. We welcomed distinguished guests including Deputy Premier Rita Saffioti, whose efforts have been crucial in securing the long-awaited train line to Ellenbrook, City of Swan CEO Stephen Cain, who announced some exciting infrastructure plans for the area, DevelopmentWA CEO Dean Mudford, and Danny Murphy - the driving force behind the Ellenbrook project, who was honoured with the unveiling of a plaque in his honour. Ellenbrook has received over 40 awards, including being named the world's best master-planned development by the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards in 2015, solidifying its reputation as Australia’s most awarded master-planned community. As part of the Telethon Home project, we ran our annual SOLD sticker competition to get the community involved in this fantastic initiative! Our well-deserving winner was Eliza Jordan, who is 10 years old. Her family is currently renting in Clementine Estate while their new home is being built in the estate. We asked Eliza about her inspiration for the design, and she shared the following: “I kind of got a bit of inspiration from my mum because she said what about like you do a tree and stuff and I was like hmm, and I did all the tree because it’s like known for like being a really nice area with all the trees and the bushland. And I also did Telethon 7 down here, because it was for Telethon. And I did Clementine Estate because of course it is in Clementine Estate, and I thought it would really show where it is from. And I did the leaves because it shows the greenery.” Congratulations Eliza, and thank you for your beautiful SOLD sticker design!
