About us

Since 1924, Frasers Property Australia has created stronger, smarter, happier neighbourhoods. We are one of Australia's leading diversified property groups and an Australian division of Frasers Property Limited. We develop residential land, housing, and apartments and have delivered over 145,000 homes during our legacy; and develop build-to-rent, commercial, retail and mixed-use properties. Our activities also encompass the ownership and management of investment property, incorporating property and asset management services. We work sustainably to ensure the places we create leave a positive environmental legacy and enhance the way people live life together. Frasers Property in Australia has certified over 8.6 million square metres of Green Star space across our communities, and our commitment to reduce carbon has been approved by the global Science-Based Targets initiative. Frasers Property Australia owns Real Utilities, a licensed Australian energy retailer that owns and manages carbon neutral energy infrastructure within some of our communities with the mission to be greener, cheaper and simpler. We value diversity and firmly believe that together, we’re better. We employ over 500 people nationally and are recognised as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality by the Australian Government’s Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

  • A brand new school in our Mambourin community in Victoria opened its doors this week, welcoming its first students to begin their education journey! 362 students from Prep to Year 6 commenced at Good News Lutheran College on Monday, with the school set to eventually accommodate 1,500 Prep to Year 12 students as it continues to grow over the coming years. Parents were also in attendance for the school opening, with more than 100 parents enjoying a morning tea at the residents' centre, Club Mambourin, after the inaugural school drop off. Frasers Property Australia General Manager Development Victoria Sarah Bloom says the school is a welcome addition to the neighbourhood. "A school is a glue that can knit a community together, so we couldn’t be happier to see Good News Lutheran College open its doors." Find out more: https://lnkd.in/g45JgZep

  • 2024 was a milestone year for Frasers Property Australia as we marked a century of operations in Australia. We celebrated around the country with our communities and customers, and held events with our staff reflecting on where we started as a company and what we’ve achieved over the past 100 years – and goals for the years to come. Many of our projects also achieved major milestones this year, from first residents moving in at Midtown MacPark (NSW) to the commencement of construction at our new retail centre Mambourin Marketplace (VIC). From our CEO Cameron Leggatt, and all our staff at Frasers Property Australia, we wish you and your friends and family a safe and happy holiday season, and a joyful and prosperous new year.

  • Frasers Property’s vision for Reconciliation is to empower ‘Proud Communities’. This is informed by our core business function of developing places for people. Promoting reconciliation and celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples’ cultures are an integral part of this function. Our projects and developments around the country continue to work towards that vision as part of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). In 2024, Frasers Property Australia’s National RAP Council enjoyed a cultural tour of the new Sydney Metro Martin Place precinct with Balarinji, and learned about the design initiatives which were incorporated on the project to celebrate First Nations culture and Connection to Country. The Midtown MacPark (NSW) project team has worked with the Dharug Cultural Advisory Group to understand how Country can be represented in the project. There are now three totem poles at each entry point including a plaque in dual language acknowledging Country provided by Dharug elder Leanne Watson. The artwork on these poles, created by Dalmarri, incorporates symbols and imagery that reflect the heritage of the Wallumedegal people, celebrating their enduring connection to this land. In QLD, Blaklash hosted an event for FPA at The Quarry in celebration of NAIDOC week. We learned about Blaklash Creative’s approach to delivering Country-centred design and cultural placemaking, and the cultural history of Keperra through storytelling. We also introduced The Quarry’s approach to recognising and celebrating cultural history throughout the project site. At Baldivis Grove (WA), the team has been consulting closely with the Gnaala Karla Booja Aboriginal Corporation in relation to maintaining the cultural heritage of the site. Before commencing work on the latest stage of the project, all employees and contractors working on the site completed cultural awareness training to learn about various aspects of Nyungar culture, including land management, heritage preservation, and the connection between cultural identity and the natural environment. The VIC team travelled to Shoreham to attend a cultural immersion workshop with the Bunurong Land Council. During the visit, they learned about Bunurong practices of land care and native vegetation, and ways that they may be able to apply their knowledge to our projects on Bunurong land, including Five Farms, Bradmill Yarraville, and Berwick Waters. Respecting and reaffirming the place-specific cultural identity of the Country we work on is an important part of continuing cultures and creating spaces that are safe and welcoming for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We look forward to learning and continuing our Reconciliation journey with their guidance.

  • It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Frasers Property Australia communities around the country have been celebrating the holiday season, with festive fun-filled events for all ages. Santa has certainly had a busy schedule, visiting many of our neighbourhoods and retail centres and sharing his infectious jolliness with their residents and customers. We’ve loved bringing these events to our communities, and we hope they’ve enjoyed them just as much!

  • Senior Customer Care Consultant Tina Wu talks to Frasers Property Australia customers every day. She knows that the physical attributes of a piece of land or new townhome are just one side of the property equation. The other is the emotional connection it creates: pride in your home and love for your community. She lays it out for us in our final Red Chair episode for 2024: https://lnkd.in/gFRGcf3F

  • We're still buzzing from the energy and excitement of our FPA100 celebrations in Sydney last week. For the first time in our 100-year history, we brought together our entire team from across the country for an unforgettable couple of days. From unique and memorable team activities that delved into the heart of community and belonging, to a magical ‘block party’ at the iconic Carriageworks and recognising the outstanding achievements of our people at our annual Excellence Awards, FPA100 was a true celebration of our past, present, and future. As we reflect on our 100-year legacy and look ahead to the next chapter, one thing is clear: our commitment to creating thriving communities where people feel proud to belong has never been stronger. Thank you to everyone who made FPA100 so special. Here's to the next 100 years!

  • We're honoured to have been nominated for Game Changer of the Year at the REA Group Excellence Awards for our contribution to the making of The Great Separation documentary. The film explores the importance of belonging and connection in a world grappling with loneliness. While we didn't take home the award this time, we're incredibly proud of the impact it's had, sparking important conversations and inspiring action. We remain committed to creating stronger, smarter, happier neighbourhoods where people feel proud to belong. You can watch the documentary here on Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia: https://lnkd.in/gzJqxu4b

  • Frasers Property Australia was the proud major sponsor for this week’s Property Council of Australia Victoria event, The Great Australian Dream, which looked at the opportunities, constraints and evolution of home ownership in Australia. Keynote speaker Jessica Christiansen-Franks of Neighbourlytics set the scene while the esteemed panel of Kylie Mannix of AVJennings, Anne Flaherty of REA Group and Frasers Property’s Executive General Manager Emily Wood led the audience on a deep dive into how The Great Australian Dream continues to evolve, current and emerging trends in design and connection, as well as the challenges, policy settings and the role of our industry in delivering the homes and communities we want, and which all Australians deserve. Thanks to the PCA and all participants for working with us to coordinate another wonderful event.
