Seatransport is excited to be working with the IAAC to help local industry and Government to find new pathways to optimized local logistics efficiency… #shireofirwin
Thank you to the community members and industry representatives who turned out to support the Shire of Irwin Industry Expo. This event was a platform for our community, local businesses, and industry to engage in meaningful conversations about the exciting possibilities that lie ahead for our region. We have long foreseen the upcoming economic expansion and the Shire of Irwin has been working tirelessly over the past few years to align the interests of industry with those of our community. Our goal is simple: to ensure that every individual within the Shire reaps the benefits of this growth. These opportunities are a direct result of the remarkable growth of the mining and resource sector in the Arrowsmith corridor and the potential for collaboration between the community, our local businesses and industry is immense. The Shire was keen to host Industry Expo so the community could gain a deeper understanding of these projects and plan for the future. Thank you Mitsui E&P Australia (MEPAU), Beach Energy Ltd, Mineral Resources Limited, Pilot Energy Limited, VRX Silica Sand, Iluka Resources, Infinite Green Energy and Seatransport Pty Ltd for your commitment to work hand in hand with our community. Thanks also to Sandra Carr, Mid West Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Mid West Development Commission for your support. Our gratitude also goes to Dark Horse Event Hire, Dongara Hotel, Sunset Takeaway Diner and Woop Woop Coffee for helping make the event such a success.

Seatransport was honoured to sponsor Silo Tavatuilagi on her recent trip to Canberra to attend the annual National Leadership Forum. Silo, an emerging young leader from Fiji had the opportunity to meet other young leaders from various cultural and religious backgrounds across Australia and the Pacific to discuss ideas, explore concepts of leadership and build networks. Over the 4 days, Silo spend time alongside Members of Parliament, leaders of business and other young leaders from various stages of life to consider who they are as leaders and how they can expand their leadership repertoire. Seatransport’s Executive Chairman, Dr Stuart Ballantyne was recently in Fiji and in talks with the Fijian Government to support the country’s mission to revitalise the shipbuilding industry. The Fijian Government is considering the construction of two new undercover graving docks on the western side of Viti Levu. The Prime Minister, Mr Sitiveni Rabuka said “In it’s heyday, the Suva Shipyard was a significant source of skills training and specialisation for the nation - in particular for welders, carpenters, plumbers, electricians, draftsmen and administrators.” Seatransport believe supporting youth and emerging young leaders, like Silo will lead to a prosperous future for Fiji. #NationalLeadershipForum #Fiji #FijiShipBuilding #SitiveniRabuka #Youth #FijianYouth #EmergingYoungLeaders
