Social Futures is a social justice organisation based in Northern NSW. We have more than 49 years' experience as a regional leader, advocating with the communities we work in; working in partnership with others; and providing services that promote inclusion, fairness and social justice. Our work encompasses homelessness and housing supports, youth and family services, programs that promote genuine participation for people with disability, community sector support, professional development, and systemic advocacy.

We were thrilled to welcome Roy Butler MP, Member for Barwon, to Clubhouse Broken Hill today! It was a fantastic opportunity to showcase the positive impact Social Futures Clubhouse is having on local young people. Cluhouse is a free tech space where young people aged 12 - 17 can learn, create, and connect. With members from seven different schools, Clubhouse Broken Hill is fostering both creativity and community. In the wake of Cyclone Alfred, Social Futures continues to support disaster recovery through our Resilient Kids program. We offer a range of mental health, social and emotional wellbeing activities to help build the resilience of young people as they transition through this latest weather event. Launched in 2023, Resilient Kids has, to date, reached 17,797 flood-affected young people in the Northern Rivers. Inspiring stories have unfolded since then, with countless moments of resilience demonstrated by young people. Shaping the Journey: Resilient Kids Surfboard Shaping Workshop for Wellbeing showcases how creativity and connection play a key role in building resilience. Social Futures is a community service organisation. We have 49 years of experience working to achieve positive social change across regional NSW and Southeast Qld. We help people thrive by connecting them to the support they need — when they need it. Social Futures' care finder services team had a successful day participating in the NSW Seniors Month Festival in Dubbo last week. NSW Seniors Month Festival celebrates and recognises the significant contributions made by older adults in our community. Each event provides a space for seniors to connect, access information and feel valued while promoting positive aging and social inclusion. The Dubbo Region Festival offered various activities and workshops for seniors to participate in, incorporating this year's theme, "Time to Shine".
