🚀 Exciting News from Spaceship 🚀 We’re thrilled to share some insights from our inaugural "Money Check In" report, where we surveyed over 1,000 Aussies in the Spaceship community about their financial realities and outlooks. Here’s a sneak peek at what we uncovered: 😄 Optimism is on the rise: More than half of our respondents feel optimistic about their financial futures. Their positive outlook tends to stem from stable employment, business ownership, and financial education — as well as taking action to work towards their financial goals. 📈 Stocks are a more popular primary investment than houses: which may reflect the fact that higher cost of living and house prices are making it difficult for many to enter the property market. 💰Gender-based income disparities persist: Men are 3x more likely than women to earn over $150,000 and 2x more likely to feel 'very optimistic' about their financial futures. 🌲🏙️ Rural vs. Metro divide: Metro residents are 2.5x more likely to consider themselves financially thriving compared to their rural counterparts, and 3x more likely to earn over $150,000. 👨🚀 Youthful optimism: Despite earning less, 18-34 year olds are more optimistic about their financial futures (58%) compared to those aged 35+ (51%). Our community also voiced their top financial concerns: 1. Rising cost of living (62.3%) 2. Not being able to save/invest enough for the future (58.8%) 3.
