Let's talk about building your dream team! ✨️ Our own Whitney Wilson was on stage this week at the Spark Conference 2024 hosted by Spark Financial Group. Joining the panel of Natasha Daniels, Cathy Kildea and John Cachia, the experts discussed ways to recruit new talent and plan for the future needs of financial advice firms. The panel discussed the importance of planning for and training new staff members, the ins and outs of a Professional Year and ways to make the recruitment process more streamlined for busy advice professionals. Part of our mission to get 5000 new advisers in 10 years (see comments for more info) is to share information on how Striver works with early career seekers to discuss their career aspirations and find their passion, along with providing the tools for both businesses and candidates to make informed decisions when it comes to career planning. Rounding off World Financial Planning Week 2024 🌏 with the UNSW Financial Planning Student Group (FPSG)'s Case Crack competition!🧐 Over 40 students across 12 teams became 'financial advisers' for the evening when they were given case studies to solve for their 'clients'. Ideas on investment strategies, budgeting schedules and superannuation contributions were presented to, questioned and judged by Justin Colley from UniSuper, Warner Leung from Apt Wealth Partners and Melanie Nguyen from Striver.
