Sweat is a leading women’s fitness app and global community that’s transformed the lives of millions of women.

About us

We’re Sweat, the leading women’s fitness app and global community that’s transformed the lives of millions of women from Sydney to Singapore to San Diego. Originally Sweat with Kayla, the app launched in 2015 as a digital home for co-founder and head trainer Kayla Itsines’ popular 28-minute workout program. Today, Sweat is home to over 60 unique programs and more than 13,000 workouts designed by women, for women. Founded on the simple belief that fitness can genuinely help women improve their confidence, health and quality of life, the app reached #1 in the App Store in over 142 countries within a year of its release. The app became Sweat in 2017, welcoming more trainers and their programs to the platform. Sweat has extensive features to personalise and track your health and fitness journey, hundreds of recipes, and the latest wellness tips and advice. From the most determined athlete to the most playful mum, to the woman lacing up her trainers for the very first time, our purpose is to empower women through fitness. At Sweat, there’s something to suit every lifestyle and fitness goal, with training styles such as HIIT, strength, Pilates, low-impact, yoga, barre, pregnancy, post-pregnancy and so much more. We go wherever you go, whether that’s the corner of your garage, a hotel room, or a bustling gym. Available in over 145 countries and eight languages, Sweat offers the support of a global community led by some of the world’s top trainers and backed by years of science, experience and results. All you’ve got to do is show up and Sweat.

✨🩷 Over the past year, Sweat has had the extraordinary privilege of partnering with ThincHer, an organisation dedicated to empowering the next generation of female entrepreneurs. This week, ThincHer hosted a powerful networking mixer at The University of Adelaide's ThincLab, uniting students, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders to foster connection, inspiration and shared goals. The Sweat team was thrilled to attend, meet ambitious students bursting with ideas, and listen to inspiring speakers like Sav Perera, Jessica Gallagher, Dr Tiffany De Sousa Machado, and our own CEO, Adam Koch, MAICD. It was an unforgettable evening, and we’re already looking forward to the next ThincHer event!

This week The University of Adelaide, ThincLab hosted the ThincHer networking mixer on 30 October- what a fantastic evening it was! The event was filled with inspiration, networking opportunities and meaningful discussions that truly highlighted the remarkable power and potential of women in our community. A heartfelt thank you to our exceptional presenters: Sav Perera, Adam Koch, MAICD, Jessica Gallagher and our wonderful MC, Dr Tiffany De Sousa Machado. Your knowledge, passion and insights made a lasting impact. We also want to acknowledge our generous sponsors, whose support made this event possible: Sweat, Deloitte, ThincLab, Adelaide Business School, and Sidewood. To all the incredible women, students, industry professionals, staff, and entrepreneurs who attended, thank you for bringing your energy, ideas and enthusiasm! It was inspiring to see so many talented individuals come together to share experiences and support one another. The connections made and conversations sparked are what strengthen our vibrant community. Stay tuned for future events, and let’s keep this powerful network thriving! #ThincHer #WomenEmpowerment #Networking #Community #Collaboration #Inspiration #Thinclab #TheUniversityofAdelaide #SWEAT #Masterchef #Leadership

👀 🍽️ In case you missed it, last month we relaunched our Food section. Featuring a brand-new recipe library, this has been one of our most-requested updates to the Sweat app and a true collaboration across the business to get this experience right for our members (this might be the one scenario where there weren't too many cooks in the kitchen!), taking the community's invaluable feedback, suggestions and personal Food wish-lists on board. One thing we heard time and time again from our members was that the existing meal plans were too rigid, too repetitive and too hard to follow. So we’ve decided to move away from this structure to embrace a flexible recipe library that puts choice and feel-good, nourishing meals in the spotlight, completely reimagining what Food looks like at Sweat in the process. We believe healthy eating should be simple, satisfying and achievable and with more than 200 recipes written by a nutritionist and hand-picked by the Sweat team, our brand-new Food experience is designed to help fuel the Sweat Community forward. Here’s what to expect: https://lnkd.in/gr5yQ8AP
