Have you seen our artwork on our tanks and reservoirs across the state? Our award-winning art asset program commenced in 2018 and, since then, we have transformed 24 locations across the state, with the next makeover scheduled in at Tolosa in Glenorchy! Community in action! We're proud to support the work of Rotary by partnering with the local Spring Bay team who did a fabulous job providing the barbeque breakfast on Saturday 12 October. Tasmanian family business, Van Demon’s Café de Wheels, kept those who attended well hydrated during the morning and we thank them for supporting our event. It was wonderful to spend time with community members, and speak about the work we are doing in Orford to improve environmental outcomes for generations to come. The project is planned for completion by mid-2025. For more details, visit taswater.co/orford-upgrade

How do we plan for tomorrow while being fair to our customers today? 💧 45 Tasmanians have come together to be part of a special panel, dedicated to shaping the future of our water services. Over five panel sessions in October and November, they'll consider community feedback and expert insights from the water industry. Their goal? To find the balance and provide recommendations that reflect the voices of the entire Tasmanian community. Check out the background and wider engagement report here: https://lnkd.in/dkqkQr_B

Our strategy is built on strong foundations, with Better Together as an outcome area that will see us ensure the safety and wellbeing of our people, as well as establishing and building on meaningful partnerships across Tasmania. Bringing our staff together across Tasmania, whether in person or virtually, is just one way we’ll ensure this outcome area is achieved. Our internal communications team has been hard at work ensuring all our teams, no matter where they are, stay informed and engaged. Through more frequent virtual staff forums, we’re sharing key updates, celebrating wins, and strengthening connections across the business. A great example of this was the recent Water Main Tapping Competition, where our teams cheered on and celebrated the event in real-time, both in-person and online. It was a perfect demonstration of how we’re building connections across the state. By getting our teams together virtually and on the ground, we’re creating a workplace where collaboration thrives and success is shared. We’ve got more work to Together, we’re making TasWater a great place to work, and we’re proud of the progress we’re making. #BetterTogether #InternalComms #TasWater #Tasmania
