  • Last week, TPG Telecom released its Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) Annual Progress and Status Reports. Launched in February 2024, our Innovate RAP is a commitment to building better futures for First Nations peoples, customers, and communities, and continuing our journey towards reconciliation.   These reports detail our progress over the past year, highlighting both our achievements and the challenges encountered. Governance is foundational to realising our RAP progress, which is why we have committed to transparent tracking, measuring and reporting the impact of our RAP.   We will continue to build upon our current initiatives, driving meaningful action towards reconciliation. Our next progress report will be shared at the conclusion of our RAP in March 2026. Read More: https://shorturl.at/ultOW #InnovateRAP #TPGTelecom

  • With Tropical Cyclone Alfred approaching, power outages are likely to impact communities. When the power goes out, mobile, nbn and broadband services can be affected so it’s important to prepare now.   Here are TPG Telecom’s top three tips to help you stay connected:   🔋 Power up Make sure your mobile devices and portable battery packs are fully charged so you can access information and call emergency services. If you live in a remote area, consider a generator for long-lasting backup power.    📻 Listen up Stay alert to updates and news for your affected area. The ABC, Australia’s national emergency broadcaster, provides critical information. A battery-powered radio is a great backup if mobile or internet services are disrupted.   ☁️ Back up Upload important documents and personal records - including identification, insurance and financial records – in the cloud, on an external hard drive, or print them and keep them with you. Our teams are closely monitoring the situation and are ready to respond wherever needed.

Today we announced our full-year results for the year ended 31 December 2024 (FY24). We delivered a solid cash performance, continued to improve revenue and have started FY25 in a strong position thanks to the switch-on of our expanded regional network and the doubling of our mobile network coverage. As these results show, the fundamentals of our business are going from strength to strength as our cost controls, free cash performance and transformation activities set us up for the year ahead. Some FY24 highlights include:  · Mobile service revenue was up 5.4% in FY24 and 15.3% since FY22. Average revenue per user (ARPU) continues to grow, and Mobile subscribers increased 99,000 to 5.51 million.  · We maintained our position as the largest provider of Fixed Wireless services in Australia, despite industry-wide challenges in the Fixed space.  · EBITDA was up 3.4% to $1.988 billion, in line with our guidance to the market.  · Doubled our mobile coverage and activated our regional sharing agreement in January, expanding our population coverage to 98.4% We are confident in the outlook for our business, knowing the solid foundations we have put in place are helping us to drive down costs, improve returns and capitalise on new and exciting market opportunities thanks to our new regional network. We have provided EBITDA market guidance for FY2025 of $1.950 to $2.025 billion, consistent with FY24.  I would like to thank our people, customers, and shareholders for their continued support. 2025 has kicked off with a bang and we’re not slowing down.

  • This week, our CEO Iñaki Berroeta was in Canberra presenting at the first ever CommsDay Regional & Remote Forum where he spoke of the critical importance of bringing connectivity to the bush. Speaking to an audience of industry and government representatives, Iñaki gave an update on how our recent regional network expansion is bringing competition and choice to regional Australia and how infrastructure sharing is accelerating 5G rollouts to regional Australia in a more cost-effective way. He also spoke of the need for government and regulators to support innovation in the telco sector so together we can better deliver greater value to customers. Importantly, for the telco sector to continue delivering great service at affordable prices we should examine how policy, regulatory and spectrum frameworks can better support telco services for all Australians. • Last week we pushed the big red button on the largest network expansion in our history, more than doubling Vodafone’s mobile coverage to over 1,000,000 square kilometres. This is a gamechanger for millions of Aussies who now have more choice, better value, and improved connectivity across the country.   This milestone is a reflection of how far we’ve come and our dedication to bringing great value and connectivity to metro and regional Australians. Since the 2020 merger of Vodafone and TPG, we’ve worked tirelessly to build a true, competitive alternative to the old choice of two. That merger set the stage for innovation, enabling us to challenge the status quo and deliver real benefits to Australians through smarter investments and bold ideas, just like our infrastructure sharing agreement which underpins this network expansion.   The journey hasn't been easy. Teams across our business faced many challenges along the way but we overcame them, driven by a shared purpose to deliver for our customers.   More than a technical milestone, this is a win for the communities connected, the businesses empowered, and the families who now have more options than ever before.    TPG Telecom will continue driving competition, innovation, and choice across our family of brands for all Australians.
