    Investor Tribe Global Ventures

It was a pleasure to have Jason Titman share his experiences at our September investor fireside chat in Brisbane! Normally its terrible weather for a Tribe Global Ventures event so it was nice to have clear sky, although its unseasonably warm up in QLD hence the very small fire 🔥. Topics included: - The Swyftx journey. - Deal selection criteria. - Portfolio approach to the asset class. - Due diligence. - The importance of understanding exit strategies going in. - Founder transition from startup builder to scaleup leader. Thanks to everyone who made it out, especially Jason for sharing this time with us. Aaron Birkby Jack Butler Craig Hobart Ashleigh Greaves

A really value episode of Transparent VC Podcast 👇

Co-founder and investor at Tribe Global Ventures - the B2B VC for ANZ tech ventures scaling to the UK or USA

It was great to have Wayne Gerard join us on the Transparent VC Podcast to chat about his journey, the life of a founder, his work as a former Queensland Chief Entrepreneur, and his approach to investing at Prtnr. I'm not sure there is an innovation-ecosystem role that Wayne hasn't performed at some point, and it's great to see his passion for helping founders expand and transition to investment following his recent exit. Wayne and I first met 10 years ago, when we were both part of the Startup Working Group that developed many of the initiatives that later became Advance Queensland and The Precinct. He's a passionate contributor that always leads with the question "how can I help?" Full episode linked in the comments.

I’ve learnt lots of lessons over my career as a founder and CEO. It was great to chat with Aaron Birkby Don McKenzie from Tribe Global Ventures about my experience confounding and building RedEye, my time helping to build the Queensland startup ecosystem, as Queensland Chief Entrepreneur and helping to establish the #VCDF at QIC Hope there’s some ideas or relevant thoughts in this podcast for you or your network. Thanks to everyone who played a role in my journey, the awesome teams, customers, partners and investors I worked with so far. I look forward to the next stage as we build Prtnr #startups #climatetech #healthtech #Queensland #innovation

As I head home from a successful UK Trade Mission, I want to extend a huge thank you to City of Gold Coast and Trade and Investment Queensland for their generous support in funding my participation. Special thanks to Tribe Global Ventures for organising an excellent program that facilitated meaningful connections and insights. 🌍🤝 A special mention goes to Aaron Birkby and Don McKenzie from Tribe Global Ventures for their invaluable expertise, experiences, and connections shared throughout last week. Their insights into international trade and scaling innovative solutions have sparked fresh ideas that we're eager to explore further, both locally and internationally. 🚀💡 London Tech Week has been instrumental in expanding our horizons and reinforcing our commitment to innovation. The connections made with industry peers have been truly enriching, and I look forward to exploring potential collaborations in the near future.
