Next week is our annual Big Dream event on 12 September, and we’re asking some of our industry friends about their big dreams as a child and now.    Next up, our last year’s Hall of Good - Social Change Maker inductee Ant Melder from Cocogun.   ☁ ☁ ☁ My Big Dream as a child was: To one day break the 1500m world record (The best I ever managed was 4.30, so only a mere one minute and four seconds away from the 3.26 set by my hero, Hicham El Guerrouj!)   My Big Dream now is:  To use creativity to change the world. Still working on this. Some days it feels like we’re getting somewhere, some days it feels like we have a long way to go. Something tells me it’s going to be a life-long quest.

There's less than two weeks until our annual Big Dream event on 12 September, and we’ve been asking some of our industry friends about their big dreams as a child and now.    Next up, our amazing board member, Ellie Rogers. ☁  ☁  ☁     My Big Dream as a child was: To be a newsreader on the BBC and present the 6 O'clock news. I really wanted to be on top of the pops but even at 7 I knew I couldn't carry a tune!   My Big Dream now is:  To watch my kids grow into kind adults who have strong roots to our home, and big wings to explore the world.

The 2024 Mentally-Healthy Survey results are out - thank you to the 2,000 professionals across AU, NZ, US & UK who participated! This year's study, conducted by Never Not Creative and supported by The Mentally-Healthy Change Group and UnLtd, showed that while there have been some improvements in attitudes towards mental health, the prevalence of burnout and overall poor mental health remains a serious concern. The study revealed that 70% of professionals in the media, marketing and creative sectors have experienced burnout in the past 12 months. The research also explored the impact of working conditions on mental wellbeing, with flexible working environments proving to be the best for mental health. Last week, we partnered with Pernod Ricard for their annual day of volunteering to identify new and creative experiences to fit into our annual fundraising calendar. Jason Ly, Senior Media Manager at Pernod, said, ‘The energy throughout the day was electric and our entire marketing department left the workshop feeling energised and thrilled to have put their marketing skills down for a good cause. We are already thinking how we can make this #CreativeImpactVolunteerDay an annual event, and how to make next year’s even bigger and better.’
