🤝 Researchers at The Centre for Global Food and Resources (GFAR) have been awarded $762,964 ($3.8 million total) from the Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) to help improve Indonesia’s smallholder dairy sector. 🌿 The project, 'IndoDairy 2', will focus on improving the services provided by dairy cooperatives, which play a key role in supporting smallholder dairy farmers in Indonesia. It follows GFAR's success in the previous phase, IndoDairy1 (2016 - 2022) IndoDairy2 is led by CENTRAL QUEENSLAND UNIVERSITY, in collaboration with GFAR and University of Melbourne and Indonesian partners IPB University and Universitas Diponegoro. 👏 The GFAR project team for IndoDairy2 is Dr Alexandra Peralta, Patrick O'Connor, Jack Hetherington, and Rida Akzar.

👏 Researchers from The Centre for Global Food and Resources have secured a $498,283 grant from the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) to investigate agricultural traceability for market sustainability! Agricultural traceability is vital for market sustainability in Southeast Asia, driven by consumer demand for transparency.
