About us

In 1902, the University of Adelaide accepted a challenge: become Australia’s first university to offer degrees in business. Our success made history. And forward thinking drives the Adelaide Business School still. The highest ranked South Australian university for Business and Management studies within Australia’s number one University for Entrepreneurship Education, and the Nation’s only University accredited as Entrepreneurial and Engaged. Our programs in Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship bring world class ideas to life. The programs have been accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. AACSB Accreditation represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide and is only achieved by 5% of universities globally. The Entrepreneurship Commercialisation and Innovation Centre (ECIC), part of the Business School, brings together world-class education, research, incubation and global opportunities in entrepreneurship, innovation and project management. This bursary will enable her to expand the scope of her research, ensuring her findings are comprehensive, industry-relevant, and instrumental in shaping the future of the sector to meet evolving consumer demands. The funding will also support Eleanor’s travel overseas later this year to attend a sensory and consumer science symposium, where she will gain valuable insights into advanced research methodologies and connect with industry professionals! • Effective communication can be the key to positive behavioural change! New research from the University of Adelaide highlights the importance of authentic and balanced messaging. Dr David JAUD, from the Adelaide Business School, explains that acknowledging both the positive and negative aspects of teen experiences with alcohol leads to more genuine conversations and better outcomes. By fostering open, honest dialogues within families and communities, we can help adolescents make informed decisions in an environment of trust and understanding.
