Congratulations to Urban Play and City of Moreton Bay in Queensland on this program to save lives by increasing the accessibility and use of AEDs in public spaces, with the potential to double survival rates of sudden cardiac arrest. - So many parallels across our many programs of work at the Heart Foundation. A 12-week pilot program was used to assess the risk of vandalism and theft of the AEDs in public spaces with AEDs being distributed across nine built environment locations in the City of Moreton Bay, Queensland.
