We urge Councils to follow the lead of the City of Moreton Bay, which has prioritised community safety through our recent pilot program. Welcome to the Caboolture Region Environment Education Centre (CREEC) Adventure Playground! Our team are proud to have lead the design of the playground, creating a harmonious space between fun, adventure and nature for the local community to enjoy. The space celebrates local flora and fauna, whilst providing free and educational adventure play through an agility course, in-ground trampolines, sand and water play, and much more.   A special shout out to Chloe Wegener as Project Manager and of course, thank you to our project partners, Urban Play and Glascott Landscape & Civil for playing a pivotal role in bringing the parks vision to life. Bridges play a crucial role in urban design, forming essential connections and links. They are invaluable infrastructure – where would we be without them? As our cities grow and the need for public urban space increases, the areas under bridges become more important. These spaces can transform into shared canvases for public art projects, active recreation areas with ping pong tables, play zones, or Modular Pumptracks. The opportunities are endless. This week we officially opened the new CREEC Adventure Park! 🌳 Over 900 community members came out to enjoy the new park and explore all it has to offer. Pebble Creek Parkland Shines at AILA QLD Awards 👏 Pebble Creek Parkland has picked up two awards at the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects (AILA) QLD Awards: the Landscape Architecture Award for Parks and Open Space and the QLD ShadeSmart Award. Designed by SLR Consulting and brought to life by Orchard Property Group as part of the Pebble Creek Development, this multi-million-dollar, 9.4-hectare green space is crafted for all ages with a strong focus on sustainability, community, and connection with the natural environment. City of Moreton Bay just got a whole lot safer! ❤️⚡ Thanks to a free pilot program partnership with Urban Play and Stryker Emergency Care we've successfully installed nine Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs) across strategic locations in our local parks. In Australia, around 90 individuals suffer from sudden cardiac arrest daily, with alarming fatality rates before reaching a hospital. With access to a defibrillator, survival chances increase by 70%. These AED’s have been strategically installed at locations with consideration to the surrounding demographics’ age, health considerations and distance to a hospital. URBAN PLAY LOVES 😍 | The new Parramatta Aquatic Centre at Mays Hill is nestled within the heritage-rich Parramatta Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This project seamlessly integrates modern aquatic facilities with the park's natural landscape, preserving and enhancing historical vistas. The chosen colour palette of sage, light orange, and green for the Waterplay equipment stands out against the concrete finish creating an inviting playspace that complements the building's design and architecture.
