Great to catch up with our board chairman and medical device commercialisation guru Peter Traianou as we moved from the Mountain West ➡️ West Coast ➡️ East Coast ecosystems. What a cracking few days in Denver for VeinTech at the AVA (Association for Vascular Access) conference! From focus groups, podium presentations and value creating meetings, our team Nikhilesh Bappoo, Nicholas Buckley and Peter Carr really put VeinTech on the map! 🧐 Our SOLD OUT focus group was full of excitement and helped us unlock some great insights and feedback on how our technology can improve outcomes for patients, clincians and providers alike. Thank you to the AVA team Judy Thompson and Tonya Hutchison, CAE for making this possible for us 🙏 📚 Next up was our DATA - we had the opportunity to share the science behind the technology in a podium presentation alongside leading researchers. We covered pre-clinical performance, usability evaluations and healthy volunteer data from our technology validation studies. Looking forward to all the collaborating with the best in the field to continue building our comprehensive pipeline of evidence. 🤝 Finally, we were OVERWHELMED by the warm welcome by the global community of Vascular Access clinicians, innovators and industry who we connected with. We had the pleasure of attending the CEED program seminar at The University of Western Australia as part of our industry-research partnership to foster meaningful local collaboration to continue growing our ability to address unmet clinical needs while nurturing the amazing talent in our local medical innovation ecosystem. Students presented their interesting projects, and our very own, Ellaby Hansen, presented her project with VeinTech focusing on the fluid dynamics of blood flow in veins under the supervision of academic A/Prof Elena M De-Juan-Pardo and industry supervisors Nikhilesh Bappoo,Hao Ho and Michael Liddelow.
