She heads a research team at WEHI (Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research). 🌟 Ada Cheung established the Trans Health Research Group at University of Melbourne when she heard of trans people being refused healthcare. She pioneered innovative practices such as the importance of children being recognised as family violence victims, and the need for culturally sensitive services. 🌟 Manjula Datta O'Connor is an award-winning psychiatrist, clinician, researcher, leader, educator, and advocate. Her clinically based research shone a light on dowry abuse, and instigated community-based family violence prevention. 🌟 Hypertension-induced heart disease is a poorly recognised condition in women. The 2/14th was an artillery unit formed on 17 October in 1940 for service during World War Two. The unit was stationed in Darwin from 1940 through the 60 bombing raids on the city. They were deployed overseas to support the 5th Division's operations in New Guinea in 1944 and in New Britain in 1945.
