💟 Friday Funday 💟 Feeling nostalgic that it's been a whole week since our WRC retreat. Our fabulous Queenie created this heart warming, wholesome team video so we can relive the memories. Sharing is caring, so we thought ... why not share with the WORLD?! Featuring Lucy Allen 🍉 and Adam Diamond who also came along and were a very welcome part of the crew (thank you thank you) 💜 And, of course ... massive thank you Jessica Trumble for organising such an impactful 2 days.

👋 We are GROWINGGGGGG, and we're looking for more fabulous friends to join us at Charlotte. Why are we such a great place to work? WELL - 'I would recommend We Are Charlotte as a great place to work' and 'I am proud to work for We Are Charlotte' were 2 of our top-scoring metrics in this year's engagement survey. 'I can be my authentic self at work' was also right up there. We are a startup with people at the heart of what we do. We're shaking up the way talent and P&C is done, and that's something to be excited about! Speak to Natalie if you're keen to know more!
The last few months have created an exciting new phase of growth for We Are Charlotte. We continue to partner with our phenomenal clients - many of which we're proud to say we've partnered with for years! And recently, we also have welcomed a number of new clients spanning across embedded People partnering, projects and recruitment 🚀 . This means we need to grow our team (and fast!). I'm so excited to share the following, brand new roles, are now live - if you, or someone you know would be suited to one of these roles - please apply or reach out to myself or Natalie Colton. 🤩 Senior People Partner - https://lnkd.in/eSEM7Xkb 🤩 Senior Talent Partner (Technology and Digital) - https://lnkd.in/eQvz_p3u 🤩 People Operations Specialist - https://lnkd.in/efJCWmzF #LifeofCharlotte #HRjobs #Peopleandculture #Recruitmentjobs #Talentjobs

We were so lucky to have Emily Robinson as part of the We Are Charlotte team and love seeing her continue to go from strength to strength in her career. Looking forward to listening to this Calling Operator ep 👏
🚨 New episode drop! Laura Nicol chats with Emily Robinson, General Manager of Operations at Kic. We explore her journey from leading people at tech unicorn Linktree to consulting with We Are Charlotte and now leading Kic (and quashing diet culture) alongside Laura Henshaw and Steph Claire Smith 💪 There were so many, but highlights include: 🧠 Balancing anxiety and mental health around leadership and the techniques defining Emily. 🧠 Scaling from employee #90 at Linktree to leading a 20-person people and culture team through rapid growth. 🧠 Reshaping Kic's strategy from product-led to a community and content-led fitness empire. 🧠 Why community-led brands will win and how to embed a community-first mindset into your company planning. 🧠 How mentors and coaches can 10x your personal and career growth (special shout out to Jane S. Martino) Call the Operator: We want to hear from you! If you had Emily on speed dial, what questions would you ask her? 🎧 Full episode: https://lnkd.in/ebF7Qemt

Charlotte's crystal ball predicts BIG opportunities in Alex's P&C future 🔮 Great work, you! 💜
#humblebrag - I'm super pleased to share with the world that I have been awarded the 'Best Graduate' in Bachelor of Human Resource Management (Psychology) by Deakin Business School. 👨🎓 A shock to me, as ... rewind 3 years - I can still picture myself and my intense fear of failure looming over me, having not studied since finishing my VCE where I (drastically) underperformed. To think that I have now received the highest academic results in my course cohort is something I couldn't have imagined. To those out there who didn't excel at school - this does not mean you cannot excel at University, and to those out there who think they are too old to study - you are never too old to learn! ⭐

I’m sure everyone at WRC will agree that one of the highlights of our retreat was the fabulous Lucy Allen 🍉 (including the tears when she told us about her mum’s journey and how that ties into her beautiful business storyline 🥲) Not only were there tears, but also lots of LOLs, “uh huh’s”, and some non-strenuous physical activity. If you are looking for someone that can lead a values driven session with your team, look no further 👏🏻💜 The Graceful Collective

The room let out an empathetic sigh and I could feel the tears start to rise up 🥺 I was sharing the story of how my mum died; her in her 50s and me in my 20s. It’s naturally a sad story but one of hope and joy too. It’s also a story I share in almost every facilitation gig I have as it’s the “why” behind my business. As I’ve shared it so frequently, I usually don’t feel huge emotions around it in this context. But this was different. The *good people* at We Are Charlotte really heard me, made space for the sadness and showed that they cared. The exact qualities I’d want from the team leading my people, talent and culture.. amiright?! It was the perfect opener to a morning designed to establish the observable behaviours that make this agency so unique. After all, if you can articulate the behaviours behind your culture, you can then recruit for, reward and replicate them as you grow. Together we pulled apart the values and dug into the core behaviors that make Charlotte, Charlotte. By the end of our session, we had not only gotten clearer on what makes the culture unique but started to highlight practical ways to embed these qualities in daily operations and long-term strategies. Thanks for trusting me with this work team and for being such good people Jessica, Tim, Natalie, Kacey, Karen, Jody, Jordan, Rebecca, Jessica, Queenie, Katerina, Catherine, Lucy, Beth, Kessy, Alex, Mel & Tara. Could your workplace benefit from something similar? Drop me a DM to find out more.

We Are Charlotte reposted this
One week ago today the We Are Charlotte team spent 2 amazing days at Meletos in the Yarra Valley for our annual retreat. We jam packed 2 days worth of celebrating, learning and connecting and it was a brilliant reminder of the value in dedicating time together as a team. It's easy to get caught up in the day to day and be 'head down', but pausing and reminding all of us as to where we're going 💥 , what we've achieved 👏 , and the impact we strive to have through the work we do 🙌 has created an energy that's going to make this next 12 months a big one. So proud of our team and grateful for the smart, capable people who are a part of the WRC crew 😍 #LifeatCharlotte #TeamRetreat #Offsite #WeAreCharlotte
