Our Adelaide #woolpack enjoyed an event-packed week, joining industry colleagues for #GeoRabble and Geospatial Council of Australia’s (GCA) Spatial Information Day.  Woolpert proudly sponsored the first ever GeoRabble x GCA co-production and sold-out event, bringing together South Australian geospatial professionals for an evening of connectivity, collaboration and celebration. Our very own George Sioutis was MC for the night, welcoming a stellar speaker line-up. What a pleasure it was bringing together the Woolpert Asia-Pacific Western Australia User Group, connecting in person to share user stories and collaborating across the #GIS community. Market Director, Government, Francisco Urbina, delved into the latest in geospatial digital trends and technology, including GIS updates and community presentations. Cisco was joined by Martin Wingett from the ACT Government, who shared the ACT's VertiGIS Studio migration experience. Stefan Meissner and Chee Heng Tan from Ethos Urban provided insights into how they leverage 3D data, through Woolpert’s Geocirrus product, in a built environment practice with impacts on project workflow and efficiency. We thank our West Coast clients for joining us in Perth and look forward to the next event in the New Year. Our Brisbane team got amongst the Ekka excitement, volunteering with The Common Good to chop, scoop and serve up the iconic Strawberry Sundae 🍓 🍦 In our third consecutive year, team #woolpack saw super scoopers Steven Henderson, Alexandra Hall, Sergio Burello, and Andrew Port join in on the fun for a berry-good cause.  The #StrawberrySundae is an initiative by The Common Good, and the Prince Charles Hospital Foundation, powering life-changing medical research into heart disease, lung disease, mental health, and dementia. Every year, more than 2,000 volunteers help power these stalls and serve over 100,000 sundaes across the nine-day show. Woolpert Survey Manager, Dan Smith, led a workshop on Laser Scanning and Field Capture Fundamentals as part of Surveyors Australia Upskilling Series. Presenting to 45 surveyors across Australia participating both online and in-person, this module delivered a deep dive into Terrestrial Laser Scanning (TLS). The session covered everything from data capture and registration to advanced modeling techniques, highlighting the diverse applications of TLS in the field. We at Woolpert are proud to contribute to the Association of Consulting Surveyors NSW Upskilling Series, knowledge-sharing and spotlighting our #IndustryLeading team. Well done, Dan!
