National Housing Infrastructure Facility program – Crisis and Transitional Housing The Australian Government National Housing Infrastructure Facility (NHIF) program has funding available to be allocated through grants and/or loans for crisis and transitional accommodation for women and children experiencing family and domestic violence, and crisis and transitional accommodation for youth. The program will open early this year and will provide grants and/or loans for crisis and transitional housing projects, including: -up to $700 million for grants -up to $300 million for concessional loans which form part of a revolving permanent fund. The following applicants may apply for a grant and/or loan for crisis or transitional housing: -registered community housing providers that are registered charities -Aboriginal housing providers that are registered charities -state or territory governments or government-owned corporations -local governments or local-government owned corporations -incorporated Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) with at least one eligible foundation member (as above). About us
The Workforce Australia Local Jobs Program (LJP) is a coordinated response aimed at addressing the workforce needs of employers across the Central West Employment Region. The LJP Employment Facilitator plays a crucial role in bringing together local market intelligence, resources, and strategy to ensure that the objectives of the Local Jobs Plan are met. To achieve its goals, the program collaborates with various local stakeholders and delivers projects such as pre-employment training to meet the needs of employers and job seekers. Priority is given to meeting the needs of local employers who are essential to the success of the LJP. Managed by Skillset, the LJP program covers 11 local government areas, including Bathurst, Orange, Lithgow, Mudgee, Parkes, and Forbes. Through collaboration with local stakeholders, the program delivers pre-employment training and projects tailored to meet the specific needs of job seekers and employers in the region. The LJP program aims to provide local employers with the necessary skills to thrive and contribute to the growth and prosperity of the Central West Employment Region.
