MOSAIC AI is now helping those who do urban planning and property development - and you can use it too! MOSAIC Pro users can now ask MOSAIC AI (BETA) and receive reasoned and data-driven insights in seconds to help with your research and strategic planning ‼️ ✅ 🤖 MOSAIC AI is an assistant designed to provide information and insights related to urbanism in Australia. MOSAIC AI can help you with questions about city planning strategies, zoning, building, transportation, property sales, development applications, and other aspects of urban development. Mecone MOSAIC AI is the most comprehensive AI feature that specifically targets urbanism across Australia. We have also made the following updates: 👉 Updated the NSW's TOD Site Areas and Boundaries to be up-to-date with the latest data 👌 Included NSW's Low and Medium-Rise housing areas policy 👍 Include the Transport Oriented Development areas and Low and Medium-Rise Housing sites in the MOSAIC NSW Automated.Intelligence.Mapper 🎯 to help you find TOD sites and LMR sites that match other planning and non-planning characteristics. 👌 Update of Brisbane City Core/Frame planning layer 🐜 bug fixes and other minor updates. Hello MOSAIC Users 👋 we wish you a happy and safe Christmas and New Year 🎄. We reflect on MOSAIC’s progress throughout 2024 and proud to now service so many customers – over 14,500 people have registered to use MOSAIC across Australia and Internationally. Rest assured throughout 2025 we will continue to work hard in getting you the best and most affordable digital mapping product in the market. We have also updated the Core Data sets and Area Insights for NSW’s far horizon population projections 📈  (2024-2041 population projection series by NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure). Areas across NSW are forecast to experience large increases in population, driven by land use planning changes, infrastructure investments, housing development, and migration patterns. Western Sydney, particularly South Western Sydney, tops the growth numbers. These high-growth areas will demand accelerated housing supply, transport expansion, and additional social infrastructure (e.g., schools, healthcare facilities). For developers, these regions represent significant opportunities for greenfield developments and mixed-use projects. Only some rural and outer regional areas may see declining populations 📉. These areas are likely going to need local economic development strategies to entice net internal migration movements. Local towns and villages in these areas may need to adapt and change to sustain economic activity and consider regional renewal initiatives, such as incentives for businesses and people to relocate. Hi MOSAIC users 👋 a minor update for you. We've included ABS Residential Building Approvals as part of MOSAIC's Area Insights. ABS Residential Building Approvals data is at an Statistical Area 2 (SA2) and Local Government Area (LGA) level. This covers data from FY 2021 onwards and will be updated quarterly as data is made available.
