Macca wears many hats, from support doggo to Acting Commissioner! Thank you for your suppawt, Macca and Selina! 🐾
Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred has packed some punch and it’s been a busy weekend visiting the Brisbane City SES at Newmarket as well as emergency service workers in the State Disaster Coordination Centre (SDCC) at Kedron. Macca has made lots of new friends, found out that he has been deemed “SDCC Employee of the Month”, and also tried on the Commissioner’s hat for size. As always, huge thanks to Petbarn Foundation and Empower Assistance Dogs for making this happen.

We are incredibly proud to be participating in Run Army this year! 🏃♀️🏃♂️ Run Army is a memorable fun run event where people unite for fun and fellowship with those who are dedicated to protecting us, all while fundraising to support our first responders. Run Army provides an opportunity for us to give back to our volunteers. SES have over 5, 000 volunteers across Queensland who give up their time to help Queenslanders when they need it most. The SES Gift Fund is the Run Army beneficiary for the SES, with funds raised to be directed toward member wellbeing enterprises, such as development of wellbeing hubs for activations and deployments, as well as products and services that support the welfare, safety and health of our SES members. Now is the time to give back to those who give so much to us. Please consider making a donation today and show your support for the incredible work of our SES volunteers.
