Today was the Brussels “ON!” Forum for first jobs. When it comes to calculating the EV range, it is critical to compute it accurately and in a very short time. Providing information to the driver fast helps to reduce range anxiety. The focus of our colleagues' research has been to bring this feature to the currently available routing technology without impacting the server exploitation cost. The solution proposed relies on clever and rigurous optimisation techniques allowing for efficient and fast computation. Thank you to Noémie Meunier and Jean-Sébastien Gonsette for presenting the results of their research at ITS Congress in Dubai.

At the ITS Congress today AISIN Europe presented the findings of the road accidents prediction study, using harsh-braking data points as inputs. These patterns can more accurately predict the accidents occurence than the historical data approach. Moreover it can identify specific areas where the accidents would occur.
