What a fantastic launch for Circular Wallonia "Quinzaine de l'#économiecirculaire"! 👏 It’s wonderful to see such an inspiring crowd of speakers, experts, and participants coming together. Congratulations!👏 As a long-standing member of ACR+, Circular Wallonia truly exemplifies leadership in advancing the #circulareconomy. We’re excited to continue supporting the region on this vital journey. 👣 The collaboration we started long ago is thriving. The insightful discussion on promoting circularity in #water management with Franciane Wertz during the DECISO project annual conference right after the launch of #QEC2024 is just one example among others. We eagerly anticipate an even stronger cooperation and impactful initiatives ahead, especially with the European Circular Innovation Valley where Wallonia with 8 European regions will test #innovative funding instruments for circularity. 🤩

About us
ACR+ is an international network of members who share the common aim of promoting sustainable consumption of resources and management of waste through prevention at source, reuse and recycling. It currently has nearly 100 members, mainly local and regional authorities as well as national networks of local authorities representing around 1100 municipalities. ACR+ also welcomes other key players in the sustainable resource-product-waste management, such as NGOs, academic institutions or private organisations, as partner members. ACR+ allows its members to stay in close contact with events and discussions held at the European level, notably by representing local and regional authorities in various forums and platforms of discussion with the European Commission. ACR+ is based on three main principles : * sustainable development * prevention and recovery of waste * partnership between public authorities, private sector and general public . Through studies, bulletins, conferences and seminars, ACR+ allows its members to exchange practical information and experiences, to confront problems and solutions with experts in waste management of Europe and beyond.

🚀 Yesterday we had the pleasure to meet with the other members of the European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform Coordination Group, for the yearly reporting on achievements so far. Participants also provided an outlook of upcoming activities, as we enter the final year of this Coordination Group’s mandate. ECESP keeps being a key arena to discuss about implementation of #circulareconomy and represent the perspective of #cities and #regions. This will be even more relevant for the coming months. We will continue advocating for our members’ vision within discussions related to the Circular Economy Act and the Clean Industrial Deal. Soon we will have news on how these topics will be tackled during the highly anticipated European Circular Economy Stakeholder Platform Annual Conference 2025! So stay tuned for more details 🤩 Discover more about the Coordination Group and our activities here: https://lnkd.in/dreF_2e9
