👋 Last week, we opened our Shouguang Agro Field Test Center in Shandong, China! This center is well placed in Shouguang, a major vegetable production base in eastern China, known for its farming technology. 🥦 To better serve our customers, the facility will serve as an important product testing platform to conduct in-house tests on fertilizers and biostimulants, supporting China’s agricultural market segment with crop nutrition solutions. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and at Azelis, we’re proud to support this vital cause. Our global teams came together to support breast cancer awareness through a series of initiatives: 🏃♀️ Our colleagues in France enthusiastically participated in three inspiring races, raising significant funds for impactful causes. Many participated in two Odyssea races, a charity event series supporting cancer research. At Odyssea Paris, 45,000 participants, including 16 from Azelis France, helped raise an incredible €1 million. In Cannes, 12 colleagues, including our team from BLH, joined 5,300 runners to contribute to raising €50,000. Additionally, 18 women from Azelis France, showed their support at La Parisienne, a race dedicated to breast cancer awareness. 🩷 In Italy, Azelis Italy participated in the PittaRosso Pink Parade on October 20. This event brought together over 20,000 participants from across Milan and other cities, with all proceeds supporting Fondazione Veronesi’s innovative research for hormone-positive, HER2-negative breast cancer. The funds will help advance genetic tumor typing, which aims to personalize treatment and reduce the need for chemotherapy, enhancing the quality of life for many patients. 🎃 Our West Chester, Ohio (US) office partnered with Texas Roadhouse for a Breast Cancer trunk or treat and basket raffle event on October 21st. Texas Roadhouse has been selling raffle tickets throughout the month, with all proceeds going towards current and recovering breast cancer patients at a local hospital—UC Health. 🚶Meanwhile, our US West Coast teams in CARE and CASE showed their support by writing heartwarming messages to deliver to patients at the Whittier Oncology Clinic and organized "pink walks” during their lunch breaks. 💻3,000 documents in just 90 minutes – the power of AI! Whether it’s for our labs, our customers, or our business processes, we're constantly exploring innovative solutions. Here’s a great example: 📄 Recently, new regulations required our regulatory team to update 100,000 documents. This task was going to take our team up to 36 months to complete had they carried it out manually. But thanks to AI, they seamlessly integrated the process into our cloud-based infrastructure: In the first batch of documents alone, AI processed 3,000 documents in just 90 minutes, a task that would have otherwise taken up to 80 days. A real game changer! This experience is what we call the 'digital with a human touch', a concept we strongly believe in. While AI can handle large-scale, time-sensitive tasks with exceptional speed and efficiency, our team and their oversight ensure the process is accurate, reliable, and aligned with our business needs.
