This week, Bridgestone EMEA formalized its strategic partnership with @Al Jawaden Group, officially launching its presence in Iraq. This collaboration will enable the delivery of a full range of tyres and innovative solutions to the Iraqi market. Last week, Bridgestone Aircraft Tire (Europe) S.A. (BAE) – the specialist aircraft tyre and solutions division – had the honour of hosting Ambassador Mikami, the Japanese Ambassador to Belgium, at the BAE plant. The visit was an opportunity to showcase how BAE delivers the highest quality tyres and solutions to its aviation customers, the Bridgestone Mission and Essence, and the progress BAE is making in line with our Bridgestone E8 corporate commitment. In recent times, BAE has made significant changes to enhance sustainability in both air mobility and society, including transitioning to wind power to reduce CO2 emissions, maximising the retreadability of its aircraft tyres to preserve natural resources, and developing aircraft tyres with 75% sustainable materials. That’s why @BridgestoneMEA was honored to take part in the 30th ITS World Congress in Dubai, where we showcased solutions aimed at enhancing performance and advancing sustainable mobility. In just three months, our interns have made impressive strides, accelerating our projects and driving them toward meaningful results. At Bridgestone EMEA , we aim to immerse our interns in real-world challenges, allowing them to apply their academic knowledge directly. This collaboration has been a smooth ride, fostering growth for both our team and the promising interns. Here’s what Romel Surti, our Pricing Intern, had to say: "My experience at Bridgestone MEA has taught me a myriad of things in such a short span. I've not only enhanced my technical skills to effectively engage with their current systems but also developed a strong business acumen to make better strategic decisions as part of the Pricing team. Beyond this, I also had the unique opportunity to participate in the mini-Olympics organized by Bridgestone, celebrating the spirit of the 2024 Paris Olympics through friendly competition with my colleagues. Additionally, I took part in various workshops aimed at self-development, which will have a significant impact on my personal and professional growth. During my first few weeks, one of my colleagues mentioned, “Teamwork makes the dream work,” and with that being said, I have been lucky to be surrounded by a capable, forward-thinking, and innovative team." Bridgestone and Maserati share a long-term partnership that’s seen Bridgestone custom engineer premium tyres for Maserati vehicles, including the MC20 super sports cars and the Grecale Trofeo. Our partnership is rooted in a shared passion for unlocking exceptional performance – and extends to the Master Maserati Driving Experience, for which Bridgestone is the official tyre provider. This role sees our bespoke Potenza Sport ultra-high-performance tyres take the outstanding Maserati line up to another level, giving guests the opportunity to unleash the full power of these Maserati sports cars in their natural habitat: the circuit.

Bridgestone Corporation has appointed Scott Damon to lead the West region (Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa). Scott will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer, Bridgestone West; Group President, Bridgestone Americas; and Global Chief Digital Transformation Officer effective November 1, 2024.
