Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR) tog 18 karriärvägledare från 14 svenska universitet till Bryssel för att de kan få kunskap om EU-karriärmöjligheter. Dag 1 började med information om Sveriges strategi och handlingsplan för att öka antalet svenskar inom EU #flersvenskarinomeu. Matilda Rotkirch och Anette Sonnbäck berättade om sitt arbete med strategisk EU-rekrytering och geografisk balans. Tack! Vi träffade Luís F. Loureiro de Amorim, Rita Hinek och Fatima Darago från EU Careers by EPSO som introducerade karriärvägledare till EU-karriär, Epsos arbete, EU Careers Student Ambassadors och EU Careers Staff ambassadors. Nu vet alla var de kan hitta information och till vilken webbsida de kan hänvisa sina studenter, samt hur de kan samarbeta med svenska studentambassadörer för EU-karriär. Tack! Isabelle MAZINGANT och Klara Leis Ljungmark berättade om Blue Book traineeprogram vid Europeiska kommissionen. Det var intressant att höra om urvalsprocessen och om livet som Blue Book trainee. Tack! JENNI GOZZI, Anna Olsson, Susann Rothe berättade om karriärmöjligheter vid Europeiska kommissionen. Nu kan alla skillnaden på TA och CA, samt hur man söker JPD och var man hittar alla lediga tjänster med tillfällig anställning. Tack! Besöket på Europeiska rådet var mycket spännande för att vi fick en fördjupad utbildning om Rådets arbete (och alla vet nu att Europarådet har ingenting med det att göra), guidning och Anne Parantainen, Markus Svensson, Judith Meinel och Inna Villalvilla presenterade information om möjligheter till praktik och arbete vid Rådets generalsekretariat. Tack! Vi hoppas att vi snart kan se effekten av alla dessa besök i form av ökat antal sökande till Rådets och Kommissionens traineeprogram, till Epsos kommande urvalsförfaranden och till lediga tjänster med kontrakts- och tillfällig anställning. My colleagues Rita Hinek, Fatima Darago and I, met this morning with a group of enthusiastic career advisors from several Swedish 🇸🇪 universities at EU Careers by EPSO. We spoke about our selection procedures, and about our #EUCareers Student & Staff Ambassadors programmes. Only some of the advisors spoke regularly to their graduates about career possibilities with the #EUInstitutions. I hope that after this visit more will start doing so.
