About us

The European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc) is an international non-profit organisation representing Early-Career Researchers (ECRs) from 28 Countries across Europe. Eurodoc is the main stakeholder for over one million of ECRs at the European level and brings current challenges they are faced with to the attention of European institutions. By organising events and participating in public debates, Eurodoc aims to stimulate awareness on current issues for Higher Education and Research in Europe. Eurodoc supports the development of policies aiming to improve education, working conditions, and career development of all ECRs. Our goal is to continue improving the quality of doctoral programmes and the standards of research activities in Europe, to help all ECRs to have the most from their experience in academia and to reach the career objectives they have worked for.

❗ Eurodoc response on the Future of FP10 and ERC 👩💻 👩🎓 The European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Junior Researchers (Eurodoc) just released the “Eurodoc response on the Future of FP10 and ERC”: The response addresses the consequences of the European Commission’s plan to restructure the organisation of R&I funding as reported in ScienceBusiness. These plans are alarming and, if followed through on, could endanger funding schemes anchored in research excellence and bottom-up initiatives, as well as the independence of the European Research Council. ‼ Read the full statement here👉 https://lnkd.in/eFSvg4DD ✅ More info on our website ⏩ https://lnkd.in/e8PrVrGC #FP10 #ERC #ResearchFunding #FutureOfResearch #ResearchExcellence #SciencePolicy #HorizonEurope #ResearchIndependence #Innovation #BottomUpResearch #SupportERC
