🇧🇯 #MEB2024 Lancement du Mois de l'Entrepreneuriat au Bénin ! Ce mardi 5 novembre à Cotonou, tous les acteurs clés, publics et privés, de l’écosystème entrepreneurial ont officiellement lancé le Mois de l'Entrepreneuriat au Bénin #MEB2024, une initiative dédiée à la promotion de l'entrepreneuriat et des entrepreneurs, portée par l’ADPME BENIN, le guichet unique de l’entrepreneuriat au Bénin. 💡 Ce mois d'événements met en lumière le rôle crucial que jouent les entrepreneurs dans le développement économique et social. 🔎 Au programme : des ateliers, des conférences inspirantes, des formations, des concours, des hackathons, du networking, des programmes de mentorat, des causeries et débats, dans toutes les régions du Bénin pour : ➡ Encourager plus de jeunes et de femmes à se lancer dans l'entrepreneuriat. ➡Soutenir et valoriser les entrepreneurs locaux. ➡Renforcer l'écosystème des acteurs de l’appui à l’entrepreneuriat. ➡Sensibiliser aux impacts positifs de l’entrepreneuriat sur l’emploi et l’augmentation des revenus, dans les secteurs porteurs. ➡Développer l’accès à l’information et aux outils pour pérenniser les entreprises. #IYBASEEDBénin est fier de participer à cette formidable dynamique collective, qui mobilise le foisonnant écosystème béninois, et favorise la concertation des acteurs et la construction de synergies ! 🇰🇪 #IYBASEEDKenya Empowering MSMEs in Uasin Gishu County 🌟 🔎 On October 17 & 18, we had the pleasure of gathering over 50 participants from BMOs, ESOs, MSMEs, and county government representatives for a two-day #advocacy training session at EldoHub, in #UasinGishu County. #IYBASEEDKenya 🇰🇪 Encouraging Policy Change for Entrepreneurs in Kisumu County! We would like to thank all the participants of the "Advocacy Policy Toolkit Training Workshop", held on October 14th and 15th in #Kisumu County 🔎This impactful workshop brought together over 50 Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs) and Business Member Organizations (BMOs) from Kisumu County and surrounding areas. 🔎The focus? Empowering young and women entrepreneurs by advocating for policy changes that directly benefit them. 🎯Participants identified 23 challenges requiring policy and regulatory intervention by the Kisumu County government, alongside four areas of policy support already recognized by the county. Key topics discussed included: ✔️ The MSME policy and legislative framework. ✔️ Government initiatives to strengthen the MSME sector. ✔️ Budget-making processes at national and county levels. ✔️ Public policy formulation in Kenya. ✔️ Procedures for passing bills in parliament and county assemblies. The workshop concluded with a collaborative task creating a sustainable stakeholder model to maintain ongoing advocacy efforts and engagement with government bodies. #workshop #IYBASEEDKenya 🇰🇪 🤝The IYBA-SEED Kenya Team successfully concluded the "Policy Advocacy Toolkit Validation" Workshop in Nakuru County, bringing together 65 participants from national business associations, county-based Entrepreneur Support Organizations (ESOs), and county governments from #Kisumu, #Uasin Gishu, and #Nakuru. 🔎 The workshop empowered ESOs and BMOs to advocate for policy changes benefiting young and women entrepreneurs.
