It has been a week since the Kellen Leadership Summit 2024 took place in Louisville, Kentucky, and we have returned to Brussels full of motivation and inspiration. 🌟 Besides the valuable networking opportunities with our colleagues from the USA and China, we attended a variety of insightful sessions, amongst other: on leadership development, turning ideas into achievement and exploring the US political landscape ahead of the 2024 elections. A special thanks to our Kellen Europe colleague, Marco Baldoli who, along with Michael Patti, led an informative session on Generative AI. 🤝 We also had our yearly award ceremony “Values in Practice” (VIP) where we celebrate our colleagues who consistently go above and beyond to model Kellen’s values, embrace our mission, and serve their clients and teams with passion and generosity. Congratulations to the award winners! We also want to recognise our colleagues from the Brussels office: Adriana Nosewicz, Maxime Castes, Nuria M., Simona Romeo and the European Salmon Smokers Association (ESSA) team for being shortlisted as finalists. 🏆 Kudos to the Kellen Leadership team for organising another great Summit and we are already looking forward to the 2025 edition! 🌍We are #OneKellen.

Like every year, we joined the global Kellen Leadership Summit, which this time took place from 20 to 22 August in Louisville, Kentucky, at the Hyatt Regency Louisville. It was a great opportunity to meet our colleagues from the US and China and connect face to face! It was a perfect combination of insights, sharing best practices, and discussing where we are now and where we want to go as a global company. We had the chance to listen to inspiring guest speakers, like the Sergeant at Arms of the United States Senate Karen Gibson and President & CEO for Associated Luxury Hotels International (ALHI) Michael Dominguez, FASAE, CHSE, who shared their experiences as leaders and taught us about what efficient teams look like today and what its members expect from a leader. Some key takeaways from the keynotes on crisis leadership and team management: - The fundamental principles of crisis leadership can assist businesses ad organizations not only to survive a crisis, but potentially emerge even stronger. - Leading a team and team dynamics today have never been more challenging and complex. Understanding culture and importance of humility are the cornerstones of building an efficient and cohesive team. We always strive to make a strong impact for our associations and clients, no matter where we are from. 🌍We are #OneKellen.
