In #construction, contractors frequently need to adjust design models to make them buildable, like segmenting concrete slabs and walls into manageable parts for casting. Qonic streamlines this process by enabling you to modify both the geometry and data of design models, transforming them into production-ready construction models!

Inconsistent data is a #BIM manager's nightmare. At Qonic, we ensure project data consistency with libraries for classification codes, properties, and materials, now fully customizable! Create new material libraries, extend classification systems, and set up your own property systems. Qonic gives you the flexibility and control over your data that you deserve!

Development velocity is key for cloud-based products. That's why we released yet a newer version of Qonic, only weeks after the previous feature-packed release. This latest release brings enhancements across the board, ranging from fixes in our modeling toolset to improvements in user experience.

As a contractor, dealing with external design changes can be quite painful after design coordination has already started. Since our latest release, it is now possible to update your current Qonic model with an external IFC file. This avoids model rework, because design changes get automatically merged to the current model. Using our versioning capabilities with visual merge tool, conflicts in the model’s geometry and data are highlighted so the conflicts can be resolved. #NewFeatures #ModelingTools #Innovation #SoftwareRelease

Working together with multiple designers on the same model simultaneously? Quite painful in traditional desktop software. In cloud software, there are two main ways to collaborate: real-time (like Google Docs, Trello, and Figma) and asynchronous (like Git). For complex and technical processes like building design and construction, we strongly believe the Git model points the way forward. One person can tentatively propose changes that can be reviewed before merging them into the shared public version of the model. That's why Qonic is built on top of a version control system. In our latest release, we have added a visual merge tool, a conflict-resolution mechanism that highlights where there are conflicts in the model’s geometry and data. #NewFeatures #ModelingTools #Innovation #SoftwareRelease

Exciting news for all BIM coordinators! 🚀 When merging multiple models for coordination, we know two common frustrations are: ☑ Models positioned far from the origin, making navigation difficult ☑ Misaligned model coordinates, leading to inaccurate clashes Often, moving models to their correct locations in the native authoring software is either not possible or too time-consuming. In our latest release, we've introduced new functionality to move and rotate models directly in Qonic! 🎉 Now, models positioned far away can be brought together and aligned easily and visually. #NewFeatures #ModelingTools #Innovation #SoftwareRelease

We have yesterday released a new version of Qonic, with a lot of new features: 🔍 Browse panel: Query, group, and filter your model objects effortlessly. 🔄 Versioning: Visually resolve conflicts while merging changes. 🏢 Assembly Structure: Manage the assembly hierarchy of objects. ➕ And many more... Assemblies are a fundamental concept for BIM modelling in AEC: walls can be composed of multiple wall parts; roofs can be composed of structural beams; and curtain walls contain multiple members and plates. Creating, dissolving, adding to, and removing from assemblies is now part of our toolset.
