👀 New paper 👀 Led by Laura van Oers and Jacob Smessaert. We facilitated and analysed a #fieldlab on the initial phase of designing a participatory guarantee system with a Dutch consumer-buying group who explored ways to define, measure and assess sustainable production and consumption in collaboration with its producers. Our analysis focuses on three social processes that emerged from this fieldlab: (a) deepening of #community relations around and through agri-food; (b) #learning in agri-food initiatives and (c) #politicisation of agri-food systems. our findings bring about practical, theoretical and strategic implications to understanding the social dynamics of grassroots agri-food initiatives within and beyond capitalist agri-food systems. On October 9th COREnet partners Rafal Serafin from ISO Tech, Katalin Kujáni from TREBAG and Jan Willem van der Schans from Taskforce Korte Keten participated in the EU CAP Network event held in Brussels.   The event focused on a European-level social dialogue about value chains. The main goal of the program was to initiate dialogue between decision-makers and participants in value chains, aiming to improve the position of producers within supply chains.
