In an opinion piece in Insurance Day, Elizabeth Harris, Vice President of Modeling and Research at Ariel Re discusses the increase and severity of hurricanes in the Atlantic basin. At the annual Association of Bermuda International Companies (ABIC) Education Awards luncheon that was held last week 25 Bermudian students received scholarships worth $750,000, which were funded by donations from ABIC member companies. Ariel Re is proud to be a member of ABIC and have Lindsay Hyland be the Ariel Re representative on the committee.   The awards support the education of qualified Bermudian students pursuing undergraduate or graduate education in areas related to international business, as well as provide them with a mentor in the international business community to help guide them along their education and career path. David Hosier ACA, CRMA, Head of Governance at Ariel Re is a mentor for ABIC award recipient Kennedy Wilks, who is pursuing a degree in Global Law from Queen Mary University of London.
