Our wellness days take place once per quarter and allow our employees to unplug and enjoy an extra day off. 😌 From visiting a winery to exploring amusement parks, and soaking in scenic views, our team members spent the day recharging by doing something that brings them joy. 5 tips to prevent unauthorized access during credential-based security incidents.👇 There have recently been a number of credential-based security incidents targeted at large organizations focused on cloud-based data platforms. Organizations that are not using multi-factor authentication (MFA) have been particularly at risk. If your organization is using credentials in any manner, it may be impacted. ✳️ 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 ✳️ Begin monitoring security data and logs for anomalous behavior that can indicate a security incident. This includes analyzing access logs for context, like access from uncommon locations or at odd times. If your company is a 1Password customer, you can also check Watchtower to see if any employee email addresses have been impacted, or try the following: 1️⃣ Use contextual access management and monitor for odd or anomalous behavior. 2️⃣ Use multi-factor authentication (MFA). 3️⃣ Implement and enforce strong password policies. 4️⃣ Use passkeys wherever possible. 5️⃣ Find and secure unmanaged applications.
