ACI World contributes to the latest World Economic Forum's latest publication, the Global Aviation Sustainability Outlook 2025, launched today at Aviation Day. "As enablers of a sustainable aviation ecosystem, airports are focused on reducing energy demand, improving efficiency, and supporting sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) deployment. However, challenges remain. Governments, energy producers, and the finance sector must accelerate SAF adoption through targeted policies and investments. Transparent traceability systems are crucial, and governments must support aviation’s clean energy needs through national policies, that ensure access to green energy, sustainable infrastructure development, and financial mechanisms and assistance to enable these measures. We are committed to collaborating with industry partners in 2025 and beyond to build a sustainable future for aviation." said Justin Erbacci, Director General of ACI World. 👇 Access the document for key risks and opportunities shaping aviation’s decarbonization progress this year.
