The CSA today published Coordinated Blanket Order 96-932 Re Temporary Exemptions from Certain Derivatives Data Reporting Requirements. The Blanket Order provides end-users with an exemption from reporting valuation data and an extension to reporting deadlines and will result in substantively CSA-harmonized exemptions for commodity derivatives and inter-affiliate derivatives between end-users. https://lnkd.in/eBZSHksU

The ASC, in conjunction with the CSA, today shared findings of its annual review of disclosures relating to women on boards and in executive officer positions. Since 2015, the ASC has been capturing key trends of non-venture reporting issuers in Alberta as required by National Instrument 58-101 Disclosure of Corporate Governance Practices. Among the review findings it was noted that, consistent with 2023, 84 per cent of companies have one or more women on their board in 2024, compared with 46 per cent in 2015. https://lnkd.in/gZefxdQt

Participating Canadian securities regulators today published the results of their 10th consecutive annual review of disclosures relating to women on boards and in executive officer positions. Some key highlights from the review include: • Ninety per cent of issuers had at least one woman on their board this year, compared to 89 per cent last year and 49 per cent in year one; and • Twenty-nine per cent of board seats were held by women this year, compared to 27 per cent last year and 11 per cent in year one. https://lnkd.in/dXZFXQMc
