3 Dos and Donts for your designer resume 📝 ✅ Prioritize the important information first - contact info, title, portfolio link, work experience, and education. ❌ Avoid listing irrelevant information and experiences. Try to keep it concise and only include those that can contribute to your suitability for the job. :) ---- ✅ Use active verbs (lead, create, etc.) to start when writing the description for your experience. Highlight your achievements with metrics. ❌ Avoid passive verbs (assisted, helped, etc.), and responsibilities that are too general and unnecessary details. ---- ✅ Try a single-column format. This is because most applicant tracking systems (ATS) can parse this format better. ❌ Avoid including photos on your resume, as they may introduce bias to those reviewing it. #designstudent #designjobs #jobhuntingtips #artschool #designerlife #earlycareer #careertips #resumetips
