The US Federal Reserve announced a 50 bps reduction today - marking the beginning of a new phase in managing inflation and stimulating growth.   With inflation levels trending towards the 2% target set by the Feds, this rate cut aims to balance tightening local labor markets, lower-than-expected employment growth, and decreased consumer spending. 🎨 Yesterday, our BTY Toronto team had an amazing time participating in a collaborative mural painting event with Art Factory! Each of us received a piece of the mural to paint, working together to create a beautiful, unified image. It was inspiring to see how all the individual canvases came together at the end for the big reveal, showing how each of our contributions fits into the bigger picture. We recently celebrated the commissioning of Enwave Energy Corporation's Deep Lake Water Cooling System's 4th Intake expansion along with our incredible project partners.   This is only one of several #DistrictEnergy projects that our team is delivering with industry leaders. Together we are transforming the future of sustainable infrastructure in world-class cities like Toronto.   BTY is committed to advancing district heating and cooling across #NorthAmerica and #Europe - and we are ready to share insights and best practices to help significantly scale the application of low carbon solutions across different markets. 🌿🔧   Project Highlights:   Enwave Deep Lake Water Cooling 4th Intake  BTY Project Management and Quantity Surveying This project draws cold water from Lake Ontario to cool hospitals, educational campuses, government buildings, and commercial/residential buildings in Toronto’s downtown core.     Enwave Heat Exchanger Replacement BTY Project Management   The upgrade increased Enwave’s system capacity by 3,000 tons.
