Welcome to our new Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation board member, Dhruv Gupta! Dhruv is the president of Akash Group of Companies, responsible for legal, business and strategic partnerships for all business units throughout Western Canada. Under Dhruv’s leadership, the company has grown over the last decade into one of the largest homebuilders in the Edmonton region, and, in 2020, he led their expansion into the Calgary region. The company has recently entered the Winnipeg market and has also expanded into a group of land development and commercial real estate assets throughout Western Canada. Dhruv holds a bachelor of arts with distinction and a juris doctor from the University of Alberta. Prior to joining Akash, he practiced commercial real estate and finance law. Born and raised in Edmonton, Dhruv is a long-time supporter of the Edmonton community, including the Stollery Children’s Hospital. In his spare time, he enjoys supporting the Edmonton Oilers and spending time with his family. We’re looking forward to Dhruv's leadership and new ideas! We had the incredible opportunity to host a Fringe Festival Event at PALS Sandwich shop off Whyte Ave, followed by a fantastic "100% Wizard" performance at the Sea Change Curling Club. Supporting the Edmonton Arts community has always been close to our hearts, and it was amazing to see so many of our business collaborators and friends come out to enjoy the festivities with us.
