Murray Sinclair was an amazing person. I am so grateful I was able to hear him speak when he received Canadian Bar Association President's Award as chosen by Kerry L. Simmons, K.C. The legal community has lost an outstanding advocate and a truly passionate individual regarding Reconciliation. Our country is better because of his influence. #MurraySinclair

It's the last day of the Annual SK Access to Justice Week, but of course it remains a priority all year long. The Canadian Bar Association (CBA) has been actively involved in promoting access to justice across the country, including in Saskatchewan. One significant initiative is the CBA's "Equal Justice" initiative, that studies access to justice issues in Canada and advocates for their improvement. The vision is an inclusive justice system that is equally accessible to all, regardless of means, capacity or social situation.
