"Kurtis went above and beyond to deliver the 2024 ASHL National Championships at Canlan Sports Romeoville and West Dundee. Kurtis maintained a high degree of professionalism and successfully saw 40 teams participate at both locations all weekend long. I’m incredibly honored and humbled to have been inducted into the University of Ottawa Gee Gee’s Men’s Hockey Hall of Fame. It’s a moment I’ll cherish forever. A huge congratulations to my fellow inductees, Mickey Goulet, Phil Comtois, and Chris Boucher. Sharing this recognition with such great men makes this moment even more special. To the University of Ottawa, the leadership team of the Men’s Hockey program, and the Hall of Fame selection committee—thank you for this incredible honour. And to my teammates, you made me look good every day, and for that, I’m truly grateful. It was great to see my old teammates Alain Tardif, Stephane Beaulieu, Martin Savard, Dennis Archibald, Phil Comtois, Shawn Camp and Mickey Goulet.
