Just finished another great session with the Dakota Analytics Inc. team! I've worked with Dakota Analytics for more than a couple of years now, and it has been, without exaggeration, the most positive experience I've had with a consulting firm in the data space in the last decade. One of the early indicators that our engagement was going to be different (in a good way) is that Dakota Analytics actually bothered with real honest-to-goodness Data Modeling. Not only did they bother with it but they excelled at it. Their approach is not only well thought out and theoretically appealing, but also practical. This has lead to the creation of robust and scalable data products that truly work well for us. They have produced artifacts that are not just "another series of tables and dashboards" but serve as the backbone of many valuable workflows and analyses. Something that continues to stand out to me in all of our engagements is that they listen—really listen—to us, ensuring that each project is aligned with business objectives and tailored to specific needs. They have fantastic communication skills, are transparent, and foster trust - all things that you hope for when working with someone. Dakota Analytics has forced me to revise my opinion that there are no great consulting firms in their space. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any business looking to leverage data more effectively. Whether it's for data warehousing, business intelligence, or comprehensive data strategies, Dakota Analytics is, in my book, a rare gem and a firm worth talking to. A big thank you goes out to Vinnie Crimi, Riley Dunning, Jordan Fox, Jessica Watson, and Marc Hebert for the wonderful conversation and work session today.
