Sweden is moving towards #newbuild. Canada is on the same path, with Ontario Power Generation already building Canada’s first grid-scale #SMRs at Darlington New Nuclear Project. What if we brought together the phenomenal wealth of knowledge of these two countries? On Monday (30 September), #L3Harris participated in the inaugural Canada Sweden Nuclear Power Day in the beautiful city of Stockholm, organized and hosted by Embassy of Canada to Sweden | Ambassade du Canada en Suède. Corinne Petrisor welcomed Team Sweden and Team Canada. We were then briefed by key players in the Swedish nuclear sector, from industry association Energiföretagen Sverige to established operators like Vattenfall and Fortum to cutting-edge developers Kärnfull Next and Blykalla (to name a few).
